Our All Kids Matter Pageant is a confidence building program that showcases an individual's special talents, regardless of their disability.  We are the only program in Southeast Michigan that allows young people with special needs (both girls & boys) to participate in an onstage pageant production alongside their non-disabled peers.  We believe that our program encourages children, from a young age, to embrace what makes each of us a unique individual. Young people, with or without disabilities, are allowed to participate FREE OF CHARGE and all participants receive assistance with hair & make-up, along with the option to "shop" for a gown & jewelry.
All participants receive the following:  tiara or king crown, framed certificate, lunch, and one free adult admission ticket for the Miss Downriver Scholarship Pageant. Our non-competitive competition phases include an opening number dance, modeling an outfit of choice, and escorting in dressy attire. We are always looking for volunteers AND are happy to accept donations of clean, lightly used dresses and costume jewelry.  Please email us, via our "Contact Us" tab.
